This MOU between the Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of Wildland Fire and the ITC recognizes the mutual interest that both organizations share in reducing wildfire risk on DOI and tribal lands and acknowledges the importance of communicating and collaborating on wildland fire management related issues relevant to and in support of common goals and objectives.

The NWCG Glossary of Wildland Fire Terminology was updated! The Glossary provides a single source for wildland fire and incident management terminology commonly used by the wildland fire community. The new version includes 18 new terms and definitions and 23 updated definitions. In addition 6 terms and definitions have been dropped.
